What was announced
- Top-ups
- The Community Employment, Tús and Rural Social Scheme top-up increases by €2.50 to €35 weekly, in addition to the €10 rise in most main weekly welfare payments.
- Tús requalification
- The waiting period to requalify for Tús reduces from three years to two.
- Other placements
- The Job Initiative weekly rate increases by €5. The Work Placement Experience Programme uplift increases by €25 to €140.
