Who it affects and when

Audience: Artists, community organisations, rural businesses and sports bodies.

Timing: 2027 funding allocations, subject to the particular programme or grant process.

Arts: The Government overview allocates €34.4 million for a full year of artists' income support.
Rural and sport: Allocations include €208 million for rural development and €4 million for League of Ireland football academies. Citizens Information lists €15 million to support rural pubs.
Heritage donations: The aggregate annual value limit for the heritage-items donation scheme increases from €8 million to €12 million. The described donor relief is 80% of the eligible donation value; the aggregate cap is not an individual allowance.
