How to interpret the result
Calendar differences and working-day counts answer different questions. A planning date is not proof of a contractual or statutory deadline; check the governing rule for critical dates.
Change the start date or inclusion setting while keeping the other assumptions fixed. For a critical deadline, confirm the result against the governing document or a second calendar.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not assume both endpoints are included without reading the method.
- Remember that leap years, daylight saving and local holidays can affect different models differently.
- Do not mix a timezone offset with a geographic timezone's seasonal rules.
Assumptions and sources
Good Friday is not a statutory Irish public holiday. Weekend holidays do not automatically move to Monday. Future years project the current rules; employer-specific closure days are excluded.
